Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Course Overview
Embark on your journey to becoming a professional Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) with Cordial Fire/EMS Education’s comprehensive in-person EMT course. This immersive, hands-on program is designed to provide you with the skills, knowledge, and real-world experience necessary to excel in emergency medical services and successfully pass the National Registry exam and state certification requirements.

- Two Student Shirts: Uniforms for use during class and practical sessions.

This all-inclusive course package is designed to provide everything you need, with additional costs limited to state and national licensing fees.
What You’ll Learn
Our curriculum is tailored to provide you with the foundational skills and knowledge required for EMS, covering topics such as:
- Emergency medical techniques and patient care.
- Legal and ethical responsibilities in EMS.
- Patient assessment and management.
- Medical terminology and anatomy.
- Managing various medical emergencies, including cardiovascular, respiratory, and trauma care.
Hands-On Training
You’ll gain valuable real-world experience through:
- Interactive Classroom Sessions: Learn critical concepts in an engaging, face-to-face environment with experienced instructors.
- Skills Labs: Participate in frequent hands-on training to master practical skills such as BLS, patient assessment, airway management, bleeding control, and more.
- Clinical Rotations: Engage in supervised clinical and prehospital experiences to apply your skills in real-world settings. Clinical documentation is managed through FISDAP, and for those affiliated with a hospital or ambulance service, we can coordinate an MOU to include your location in our rotations, pending approval.
Additional Costs
The course fee covers most materials and services. Additional costs may include:
- State and National Licensing Fees: Required for official certification.
- Optional Paper Textbook: Available for an upgrade fee.
Completion Requirements
To successfully complete the program and receive your course completion certificate, you must:
- Attend and actively participate in all classroom and skills lab sessions.
- Complete required clinical rotations and associated documentation.
- Pass the midterm and final exams with the required scores.

Deposit Policy
The deposit covers your background check, drug screening, application processing, and document/immunization review. Once you register, you’ll receive a confirmation email with instructions to complete these steps.
It’s rare not to be accepted unless you fail the background check or drug screening. If you pay in full but cannot pass, you will receive a refund for the program cost minus the deposit. Books or access codes already received will be deducted unless unused and returned in original condition.
Once all steps are completed and you’re fully approved, the remaining balance must be paid before the course starts. Payment plans are available through PayPal, subject to credit approval.
