Overview
Upgrade your certification by embarking on your journey to becoming a professional Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) with Cordial Fire/EMS Education’s comprehensive AEMT course. This program is meticulously designed to provide you with the essential knowledge and skills required to excel in the field of emergency medical services and successfully pass the national registry exam and state certification.

Course Features
Our in-person AEMT course provides an all-inclusive experience, including:

Two Student Shirts: Proper attire for training and clinical sessions.
Student ID Badge: Identification for clinical rotations.
CPR Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association.
Malpractice Insurance: Coverage for the course duration.

This comprehensive package has everything you need to succeed. The only additional costs are state and national licensing fees and an optional upgrade fee for a paper textbook.

What You’ll Learn
This course covers critical topics for any aspiring AEMT, including:

Emergency medical techniques and patient care.
Legal and ethical EMS considerations.
Patient assessment and management.
Medical terminology and anatomy.
Management of cardiovascular, respiratory, trauma, and other emergencies.
Advanced airway management techniques.
Vascular access and medication administration.
Pediatric and neonatal care.
Handling psychiatric and behavioral emergencies.
Use of advanced equipment like CPAP, King LT, LMA, I-gel, and EZ IO.
Newborn delivery and pediatric airway management.

Practical Training
This in-person program includes:

Interactive Classroom Lectures: Covering all foundational and advanced theoretical knowledge.
Skills Days: Hands-on training sessions to learn, practice, and master your current BLS skills as well as your new ALS skills.
Clinical Rotations: Hands-on prehospital and clinical experiences with trained professionals and preceptors. If you’re affiliated with a hospital or ambulance service, we can coordinate an MOU to include them in your clinical rotations.

Additional Costs
The course fee covers most materials and services. Additional costs may include:

State and National Licensing Fees: Required for official certification.
Optional Paper Textbook: Available for an upgrade fee.

Completion Requirements
To earn your AEMT completion certificate, you must:

Attend all lectures and skills days.
Complete all assignments, quizzes, and clinical rotations.
Pass the midterm and final exams with required scores.

Deposit Policy
The deposit covers your background check, drug screening, application processing, and document/immunization review. Once you register, you’ll receive a confirmation email with instructions to complete these steps.

It’s rare not to be accepted unless you fail the background check or drug screening. If you pay in full but cannot pass, you will receive a refund for the program cost minus the deposit. Books or access codes already received will be deducted unless unused and returned in original condition.

Once all steps are completed and you’re fully approved, the remaining balance must be paid before the course starts. Payment plans are available through PayPal, subject to credit approval.
